Bags for guys

We used a bag made for soccer. It was plenty big enough, multiple pockets, and backpack straps. It carried snacks, ponchos, lotion and more. It's torn now, so we must get a replacement. We will probably go more of the backpack route this time.

One tip: Every pocket gets searched at the entrance. The less pockets, the better.

In my opinion carry as little as possible into the parks. What worked for us was my husband wearing shorts with cargo pockets. We were able to fit a camera, cellphone, wallet and sunglasses with no problem. Nobody had to carry around a bag.

My husband and I both carry a Bagillini Messenger bag. We have kids which require a few more things than normal so most of the time we both have one. It works out great because we can take it on most rides with us.

DH prefers not to carry anything. He wears cargo shorts most of the time.
That way he takes the kids through the no bag entrance and I do thru bag check alone to get my small bag looked at.

Thank you for the replies, but the problem is like most DH I do not like to carry a lot in my pockets. Any other pictures would be mos appreciated!

Funny thing you ask. DH just ordered a backpack from Eddie Bauer which he received yesterday. He said he got it because there is a few times I have asked him to hold the backpack which is "girly" colors. He wants his own. :lmao:

I am usually the backpack hauler but he has decided to be the "pack mule" now with the big backpack and I will carry the Vera Bradley mini. :thumbsup2

Maxpedition shoulder bag. Just big enought to carry the essesntials but much smaller than a backpack.

Yeah last time I went with DFI's family I had to carry a bag with tinkerbell around and it was very feminine and wanted to carry my own around this time.

We use the bagalinni messenger bag as well. Ours is a tan color, so DH is fine carrying it if needed. We use a stroller for our youngest, so keep it in the bottom whenever possible.

I do NOT carry any kind of bag in the park. My wallet, cell phone, keys, ticket all fit in my pockets. My cell phone is kind of big, and I normally dont like to carry it in a pocket, but I do in Disney because that is one time I KNOW Im going to need it.

I want to bring crocks or sandals with a water bottle and misc items in the park. A long day of walking takes a tole on my feet because they never get rest due to being on my feet all day wearing dress shoes... Darn work.

Anyways I want to bring in a bag crocs or sandals, water bottle, poncho, extra shirt ( never know the weather/birds), and hand sanitizer. Plus if I buy a souvenir room for that.

We each carry cell phone, 3 bottles of water, a couple of zip fizz, a compact umbrella (from the $ store) an extra shirt , sunglasses and lip balm everyday to the parks.
I carry in addition to the above: camera, wet wipes,Hand sanitizer, a small first aid kit with bandaids, blister block, tylenol , sunblock, a hand towel from the hotel and copies of our ADRs.
DS and I have Bagallini messenger bags and dh has a daypack.
Everything is easily accessible and protected from water.

Im sure DFi will have a small first aid kit but I forgot sun block. :confused3 I needed to ad sunscreen because coming from Michigan to Florida is a big difference.

my husband will not carry a backpack because we go in the summer and his back gets too hot and sweaty. But he will carry the messanger. He is a big guy and wears it towards the front.

My DH has a fanny-pack type bag for the digital SLR, obviously much bigger than a normal fanny pack. It's not the most attractive bag, but it works well for the camera, all of it's lenses, it's flash, and there is space on the outside that will hold a water bottle or two and other small things. Keeps me from having to carry anything! I take the boys and go through the no-bag line.
