I have been working on a gift for DD's bridesmaids and I wanted you all to see them and possibly give me a few ideas of what eles I could put inside for the girls. I am going to try and post pictures of the things I have MADE so far. I have a couple things for each bag that I haven't made myself those are:

a small princess spiral notebook
a Light up princess sparkle pen (just won those on E-bay today)
a small wedding "brag Book"

What I have made:

The Bags
Mickey Flip Flops
Found small crown baskets (at the $1.00 Store) in those will be small bottles of lotion, body spray, shower gel from Bath and Body Works. Hand Sanitizer and a small nail file. I am going to wrap the crowns in light Blue Tulle so the contents stay inside.

The bag is pretty good size, I am wondering what else I could put inside so if anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. Ok here are the pictures

Any Ideas of what else I could put inside to take up some space????

A survival kit would be nice:
- bobby pins
- travel size hair spray
- advil (for those headaches!)
- bandaid(s)
- tissues for the cry babies

I planned on getting those towel wraps (for after the shower) and getting my MIL to embroider their names on the bottom.

I have been looking for the princess band aids to add and the pattern for the bag had a tissue cover for the travel size packs I was thinking of making those but have to make a trip to JoAnns for more material before I can get those done. The towel wraps would be a great idea also maybe I will price those it would fill the bag nicely.

I think Target sells the Princess bandaids. Atleast they did when I worked there about a year ago :confused3 Maybe you can find those towel wraps on eBay. Or maybe even keep a look out for them on those clearance racks! ;) I can't imagine them being too hard to make either. It's just a towel, elastic, and velcro. You can probably make one for about $7... just a thought!

More ideas:
- maid of honor tank or hoodie
- bridesmaid tank or hoodie
- a stuffed animal with a gift card attached
- a frame with a picture of the bride and theirself in it
- a jewelry set for the wedding day

PS - As you can tell... I'm the queen of cheap :lmao:

I am having so much fun putting these bags together and the ideas are great...I do think I will try and make the towel wraps....great idea I work at Wal Mart so I can get all the stuff there to make them. They even have Disney patches that I could sew on them:) I will keep you all up on the additions as they come....Thanks again for your input!

Those flipflops are super cute! And i like the princess notebook and sparkly pen idea. I think her Bridesmaids will love them!

I've seen and purchased a turby twist for wet hair at targets dollar section (I think they were only $2.50). If you have a long way off, then just keep your eyes open because they carry them about 2x a year, in all different colors.

My "bags" are actually large Juicy C. makeup cases that I got through a friend (emp. discount! 75% off retail) And since I was still planning on getting them jewelry, hair and makeup done for the upcoming nuptials, I've tried to minimize how much I spend on the contents of the bags (also the bags were still over $25 each). I've gotten sample sizes of lotion (.67 @ Target), Disney princess brush/mirror combos ($1), makeup sponges (.48 @target)[I am scouring clearance racks:surfweb: ]; and I've been working very hard at sending away for samples for anything I can get my hands on. I've got tons of samples coming my way for shampoo, toothpaste, hair products, body wash, feminine products, and perfume samples. Plus I have a family member who travels a ton, so I have tons of shower caps, vanity kits and soaps, so I'll stick some of those in there as well.

I'll fill up the makeup cases with that and I hope that works out! I have 6 of them to fill! :thumbsup2

Only kicker is that I have to give it to them BEFORE we leave...so I think I'll take them out for a mani/pedi the week before and give it to them then. :flower3:

Besides other things I have gotten for my BM's,I purchased matching sunglasses and I added a Hidden Mickey made of crystals to one of the arms. I got cute little sunglass cases to put them in.

I gave them these already when we went to pick up their dresses as one of them was talking about getting sunglasses and I wanted them all to have matching ones. They all tried their sunglasses on with their dresses and they looked great.

As the summer is over, you can get a great price on sunglasses now.
