Bags and Rides

So due to the Vera Bradley post, I went out and bought myself the mini hipster bag. I'm assuming I can just wear this on me on rides? I planned on leaving a bigger bag without valuables (food, drinks, diapers, extra clothes, etc) in the basket of our stroller while going on rides, but is this not a good idea? If you have a backpack or something, what do you do while on rides with it? Sorry for maybe a dumb question, but I'm a newbie and we're leaving Friday so trying to get the nitty gritty questions figured out!

Yes. You can wear it on the rides with no problem.

yes for most rides you should be able to wear the mini hipster.

as long as you don't have valuables leaving a diaper bag in the stroller is fine but be sure to clearly mark your stroller so everyone knows its yours. also if its gonna rain be sure to cover it up with either a stroller cover or we just use a poncho.

i personally like bringing a small drawstring backpack.
i bring it on every ride.
on mild rides i either set it on the floor of the ride vehicle, set it on the seat next to me, or set it on my lap.
on some thrill rides like soarin i put it in the storage pouch porvided.
on other thrill rides like tower of terror i wrap one of the straps around my leg.

i've never had a problem.

If I remember correctly, I took my backpack with me on everything when I went with the girls. I didn't have a stroller to leave it in on that trip.

I use a cross-body bag and leave it on for every ride. If you have a bag or backpack that you want to set next to you or on the floor, just be sure to loop the strap around your arm or leg so it stays secure.

Side suggestion -- tie a brightly colored scarf on the handle of the stroller (something short like a neck scarf or bandanna size). They often get moved around when you're on the rides and that will help you spot it more easily.

I left a bag with a towel, wipes, snacks, etc. in the stroller on previous trips. I've carried both a cross body and a backpack on rides with no issues.
Definitely take advantage of the package delivery if you are staying on site so you don't have to tote merchandise around with you either!

Last two trips we had valuables on us and just left plain black TJMaxx $5 backpack in stroller with wipes, etc. No one bothered it.

Never leave anything in your stroller that it would distress you to lose.

You can take even larger bags on the rides at WDW. Most rides have a storage net or compartment of some sort. Otherwise hook it around your leg.

I agree, I have gone on a ride and came back and my water bottles were gone that I had in the stroller thank goodness that was all I left there

Hubby accidentally left his brand new hat in the stroller and when we came back it was gone. i wouldn't leave anything in the stroller.
