Aww.. Never watched Bagpass much; it was on Nick Jr when I was about 10 but that about it; but I did watch a lot of Thomas of the Tank Engine in my youth.. (OK, does 16 count as "Youth"??? )

My brother bought around the world with Willy Fog a while ago. He's loving it though, I don't appreiacte the animation styling since it was made 5 years before I was born. Primative or what?? Still, I like Around the World in 80 days, although it is annoying to the others who haven't read the thing since they don't know what's coming next but I do!!!

Bagpuss freaks me out. Really really freaks me out. Not entirely sure why to be honest. I think it could be something to do with the way he yawns. It looks like he's going to dislocate his jaw and swallow you whole *shudder*

I love Williy Fog. Planning on tracking it down once I've watched series 1 and 2 of Dogtanian and series 1 part 1 of Thundercats which I've been waiting forever and a day to be released.

Not of fan of the cat. How did he get pink? Willy Fog was fun but can only remember a little of it. They really don't make cartoons like they did in the 80's. I'm an 80's child so I grew up watching Transformers (yey - the movie is due out this year), Thundercats, He-man and She-Ra, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Visionaries, Jace and the Wheeled Warriors and Dogtanian. Ture quality programing

i dont normally reply to these threads as DW is the one who spends her time reading these but had to say that thunderbirds, captian scarlet ,and joe90 were the best first time around eg 1960's DW saids that she use to get very jealous of mary from mary,mungo and midge as she could go out with a dog and mouse

I have that dvd, so great, I also bought Dogtanian and the 3 Muskerhounds, and am sure that my kids would love Cities of Gold if I ever found it. I was having a chat with my friend the other night and we came up with Metal Mickey, Centurions, Rentaghost, No. 73, and loads others. Oh yeah, also have Dangermouse on video from when i was little, still plays well

I loved Metal Mickey. My dad made me a Metal Mickey costume out of boxes and a tv ariel for halloween.

Bagpuss, Clangers, Mary mungo and midge, Mr Benn, Magic Ball, Flumps, Camberwick Green, Trumpton, Chigley, Jamie and his magic torch, Chorlton and the wheelies, Cloppa Castle, Willow the wisp I could continue, you get the picture.

I own most of the above now on DVD, ahhh childhood memories, still watch them now, especially the Trumptonshire mob, collect the figures as well.

AHHHHHHHHH I need locking up quick.
