Bagless vacuum recommendations???

My vacuum literally exploded so I need to get another one. I'd like to try a bagless model this time. If anyone has any recommendations of a good one I'd sure appreciate it!

I'm on my 3rd Fantom Fury. I bought 2 identical ones in 1997. They lasted 4 years each. I swear they died within 2 weeks of eachother. I use them often (2x a week) and I have 2 long haired pets, so I really put those babies through a lot. (Our house is 2400 sf if that makes a difference on usage.)

I'm on my 3rd one now. I won't buy another Fantom though. The one I currently am using just doesn't seem like it does as good of a job as it once did. Plus the company that makes Fantoms is now out of business, so any warranty is probably null and void now, lol.
