Hello again, everyone. Just finalized my return home and my Disney itinerary. I'll be saying hello the mouse from April 28 - May 2. Thanks again for all of your support and kind comments.

Did you check into Shades of Green? They have great package deals for those that are returning from a war zone. Hope you have a safe trip home and you enjoy your time at Disney! We might be there the same week. My husband is deployed. He is supposed to be back the beginning of April. If he returns as planned and can finish his inspection we will go Spring break week. However, if not we will be going April 28-May 3rd. The later date looks more likely. Anyway, enjoy your time at Disney!

Cynthia, First of all, thanks to your husband for his service to the country and to you as well because as you know, the family back home is just as critical to the mission as we who actually deploy.

I have never stayed via Shades of Green, but I'm aware of it. I usually meet a couple friends and we always stay at the same Radisson as it is our tradition now. Shades of Green is a great idea for the military folks though!

Thank you for your service to this country and all of your fellow teammates. I think you all have a lot more positive support than is sometimes portrayed in the papers, news media (just remember, the squeaky wheel gets the oil). I for one, do not want to ever take for granted the liberties I experience because of soldiers like yourself who keep us safe. Thank you.

Now - enjoy your time at Disney and you deserve every moment you have to relax, have fun.

this is the first time i ever read this board...never noticed it before. anyway
thanks so much for protecting america's freedoms. i was in the naval reserves
during desert storm and our whole unit but 2 was called up. we are so proud
of our brave troops. you guys are doing an outstanding job! we care and support
every one...every day. God bless and please thank every one in your unit.
remind them they are in american's prayers. and have a great vacation.
p.s. a buddy just came back from a tour . darn him, he forgot to bring my
kids' request for a baby camel...so if it isn't too much trouble... .
a long time ago i was stationed at patrick's afb. have you ever been there?

Thank you from all my family and friends. We really appreciate what you are doing over there. My Dad is a Vietnam Vet , so I have heard some of the front line horror stories.

Glad to hear you will be making it to WDW in April. My buddies and I have somehow talked our wives into letting us do a guys only WDW Golf Trip April 28- May 1st. We'll be there the same time as you. Where will you be staying? I would love to buy you a drink for all you do for our country!!!

Second - You will be leaving before I arrive (May 5 - May 9). DBF would have given me money to buy you a drink (if you wanted) he is a Vietnam Vet in the Special Forces and now I won't be able to shake your hand!

Make sure you stop and "smell the roses" when you get there at the Epcot Flower Festival
