Baggallini Messenger Canada

I am trying to find a place to buy a Baggallini Messenger online before my trip mid-March.

I need a site that will ship to Canada and hopefully use USPS so that I don't get hit with the crazy duty and brokerage fees.

Any Canadians have luck getting Baggallinis online?

I found mine of all places in a BC Ferries gift shop last year. They are super comfy to wear, and if you are comfortable ordering from the website, then go for it. I would also go on the Bagalinni website and check to see if there are any stores in your area.

Hi, new guy here. I looked this up and found the website for Baggallini and found the 'find a retailer' page has all the Canadian Provinces listed with local retailers.

I don't if this is what you wanted or not.

I could not find a retail store in my area selling them.

I ended up purchasing one online through "bagsbuy.com".

It was on sale for $37.45. Then I applied a $10.00 promo code. And received a membership reduction of $2.75. Then paid $15.00 for shipping. I ended up being billed $39.70 US.

I don't recall paying any additional fees when it finally came to my door. And I'm sorry, but I also don't recall how long it took to arrive!

Unfortunately I don't have any access to a retail store (I live on a very small island, a good distance from any shopping and I would like to have the bag before we leave if possible).

I looked at bagsbuy, but the fact they were shipping with a courier makes me really nervous. We have been hit with very heavy duty and brokerage fees going that route on other items (fees more than the actual item itself).

Here is the info at Bagsbuy checkout that worries me:

Ebay, baby! You can select a reliable seller that ships USPS - and they sometimes mark as a gift so you have ZERO fees/duties/taxes if it's under $60. Even if you have to pay the fees, and say you spend $45 on a bag, you'll pay only $5. for a Canada Post fee, about $6 in taxes and a couple bucks for duty. I think that's tolerable.

I just did a search and found 8 messenger bags, and most have cheap USPS shipping:

I do all my 'hard to find in Canada' shopping on ebay when I can't make it across the line. Ebay is set up to protect the buyer. Pay with your credit card via paypal and you've have two paths of recourse if the bag never makes it to you. Choose a good seller with 100% positive (or close to it) feedback, and you won't have to even worry about that.

..US almost without exception I ship stuff to my hotel and avoid the extra shipping and duty. My favs are Zappos and Amazon as you can really define your shipping times as they have some guaranteed shipping times. Zappos has free shipping both ways so I will often order a bunch of shoes keep what I want and ship what does not work back; (have to find local UPS for this). Amazon alo has free shipping just watch the delivery times I think you need ot order a bout a week out from them where as with my zappos gold or platimnum (can't remember what it is called) it is 24 hour free shipping.

I love the EBay option and have done a lot of shopping that way. They have 2 of the style of messenger bags that I want on there right now. I am contacting the seller of the new bags about shipping. They are charging $39 shipping for a $36 bag, but who knows maybe there is another option

We are at a rental house and so I can't ship there, but the Jet-Setter link is great. With shipping it would come to $60, for the others who are interested. Going to see if I can get any lower than that, but if not going to order.

I wish Amazon would ship that item to Canada, but it says they won't I just tried EBags and they calculate all duties and brokerage ahead of time which is nice. The bag would come to $72.00.

For around $25 or $30 Zellers stores had a similar travel tote (messenger bag, not baggallini brand) and would certainly serve you well. Look in the travel bag sections (luggage) or even in the purse/handbag section.
