Baggalinni - too big for rides?

I just used my Baggallini for the first time at our DL trip the 1st week of Oct and found that I liked the size of it. I did have a problem with the the straps slipping and getting longer, and I wanted them all the way tightened up. I had to buy some pin it with a very large safety pin under the metal part to block it from slipping. I also had to buy a baby car seat strap cover to put over the strap because it would rub my neck. I cut off the cute little bear and it worked well. So aside from those issues, the bag worked well and I never took it off for rides. I would turn it to the front of me.

I was just wondering what people were paying for the bags? We have a place here that sells them but I have not checked it out yet.
