baggage service, another tipping issue

I've read mixed opinions about tipping, so now I'm even more confused than ever.
Some say CMs are not allowed (or supposed to be allowed) to accept tips (unless in a food position). Even though I always tip mousekeeping, I wouldn't want to find myself in an awkward situation with baggage services as I'll be using them for the first time

I've booked a stroller from orlando strollers rental for October, and I'm supposed to pick it up at baggage services at POP.

So my question is : do I tip, and if so, how much should I tip ?

Same question for dropping the stroller off at the end of the stay

i wouldn't tip for picking up or dropping off a rental stoller.
This is similar to picking up a package that i had shipped to the hotel. Not something i would tip for.
However, i would tip bell services if they handle your luggage. Whether they take it from or bring it to your room, or if you just have them store your luggage for you. In those situations, i would definitely tip. But not in the case of the rental stroller you mentioned.

and what you heard about tipping is incorrect.
CMs in food services, mousekeeping, and bell services can all accept tips.

Yes, Bell Services can (and very much expect to) receive tips.

Agree with other posts, wouldn't tip for stroller rental, but as a guide for mousekeeping we tip a dollar per person in room, and for baggage/bell service a dollar per bag °0°

as a rule if someone does something for you - tip
if they don't - then no need

housekeeping - $3-$4 a day
porters - $1 per bag/case
valet parking - $2-$3 when car returned
waiters/waitresses - 15% to 20% of total bill
bartenders - $1-$2 per round

This is a very good guide. I would say I tip closer to $2.00 for valet parking and many people do not tip hotel housekeeping. No need to tip for the stroller.
