I just got my cruise documents for my December cruise and saw that they limit is two bags per person. So, how serious are they about this? Would they allow three bags? four? I'm wondering, as we're driving to Florida (so don't have to worry about airlines' baggage restrictions) and our cruise is the last week of a three week vacation, so we'll probably have alot of stuff.

If they are serious about the two bag limit, what are the size limits for the bags? I have a couple of old steamer trunks in excellent condition (even with old travel stickers) that I could use.

I'm not sure how much they adhere to the TWO bag per person rule. But I'll tell you what we did when we had an extended vacation like that. We tried to plan our bags to have mostly cruise things in the two bags, and then mostly "non cruise things" in the other bags. For example, there were things we needed at Walt Disney World that we KNEW we wouldn't touch on the cruise, so all of that extra stuff was left in the car. You also can take a carry on (not sure if there is a size or number limit) but remember, whatever you carry on, you have to schelp around until your stateroom is ready---could be as late as 2:30.

HTH.

Don't know if they enforce this.
How many of you are going?
There were 4 of us, and we went with a total of 2 bags, not 2 per person, 2 bags.
Man, if I'd gone with 3 each, that would have been 12 bags. I have a Suburban, and I'd be hard pressed to get 12 bags even in that monster.

Pack your cruise clothes in separate luggage and leave the rest of your vacation clothes in the car.

With four people in the stateroom and two bags per person, you will run out of room to stash bags. Disney does not provide suitcase storage, and although DCL staterooms are larger than average, there is not room for two steamer trunks!
