Good Morning!
I leave the cold state of Alaska in 7 days. Hooray!!!!!!!
My question is, can you get from baggage claim B to baggage claim A with no problems. We are meeting my family there and the Tiffany Towncar people. Our flight gets in almost 2 hours before theirs so I was hoping that would give us enough time to get over there and meet them. I would like to meet them at the gate but I don't know what to do with all our luggage. I haven't been to Orlando in 5 years, so I couldn't remeber the layout of the baggage claim area. I have pulled up diagrams off the net but was hoping that someone that frequents the airport could help!!!!
Thanks a bunch!!!

I think the 2 sides are laid out so that both sides can be accessed from level 3, which is where the trams arrive, the security stations and the check-in areas are. So get your luggage from level 2, go up to level 3 (there are elevators in baggage claim) and look for the signs to baggage A. Get their airline & flight # so you can check the status of their flight at the main board on level 3. You could meet them where the tram from A arrives by the security station. If you have a lot of luggage, I would not drag it over to the gate, you would have to go through security with it.

If you want to meet them when they get off the plane, you will have to store your luggage, as you will not be allowed to take it with you to the gate (I am assuming your suitcases will be too large to fit through the security conveyer belts).

When I had to do this once, we were able to have our luggage stored for an hourly fee while we went to another gate to meet some friends.

Just another option to consider. :)

Have a great trip!
