What is it and is it comfortable? LOL.

I have a backpack, with one strap and it worked well on a recent day-trip. I looked up the Bagallini or whatever mentioned and it seems neat but which one is recommended? Does anyone have them? etc ...

I'm new here so sorry if this was asked before, and I'm sure it was....

I actually just received one in the mail today. I think it will be great compared to the bulky backpack we used to use. It is smaller than the standard backpack. It does have a lot of compartments, even one in the actual strap to hold a cell phone. We got the messenger bag. It comes in many different colors. We got it from eBags.com. (free standard shipping) I'm hoping that it will also be less of a nuisance while carrying it. Our backpack was awfully hot on our backs last visit.

I have a black one made out of the ripstop nylon fabric. I've carried it to WDW a couple of times, but really don't like it. The strap comes right between your breasts and the strap irritates the left side of my neck. It's a convenient size though, just not comfortable to wear. I prefer a regular small backpack (like a Vera Bradley Mimi size).

I used this on our last trip and for a couple of local weekend trips and I don't think I'll ever go back to using another bag! This bag was comfortable to me and it's just the right size. My cell phone doesn't fit in the phone holder, so I put it in another place, but that's the only flaw of the bag to me. I like the different compartments and how comfortable it is to wear. There's also a water bottle holder on the bag, which is nice to have.

I found one at a local luggage store. I brought my stuff and loaded it up and I had the same thoughts at Aubriee. The cross-the-body strap fell in an odd (and unflattering) place on me, and the bag rubbed the side of my neck. The size was perfect, though. I really, really *wanted* to like it, but I decided to pass. I'm still on the lookout for the "perfect bag."

We just got ours, and got them through ebag.com (which if you are a AAA member, they have a link to a AAA shop with special deals - you need to allow popups to see it), and they are perfect for us. We particularly like the cell phone holder, but they sit great, and will fit what we actually plan to carry. YMMV.

Oh I hope mine doesn't rub on my neck! It didn't seem bad when I tried it on....but that was with it empty. We don't plan on putting a lot in it though. Crossing my fingers it will do the job!

I have the Baggallini in Ripstop black as well. The bag was nice and roomy to fit lots of stuff in it. I didn't like the fact that you couldn't swtich sholders (the 1st time I really used it was in Disney and my shoulder was sore by the 2nd day). It also does sit in a very uncomfortable place on my neck, but I guess I got used to it. The bag likes to slide to my side and not stay on my back because the adjustable size parts always slide from where I put them. I do love that they have a place to put a bottle. Without that and an extra pouch to put my Kool-Aid bottle packets, I would have never drank any water.

Thanks for the scoop guys. I like the look of them so I might get one eventually. I just invested in a backpack about a month ago so I'm not rushing to replace it yet and mine's a one-strap and it's fairly comfortable and does what I want, so ... but thanks again for the info ...

I don't really like carrying a back in the park but when I'm solo, it's better than shoving it all into my pockets. I'm just cautious riding rides with it. I should know there's spots on everyride for a backpack ... lol

It's pretty simple on rides. If you don't have a lot of stuff in it, or anything that can be smushed, then you just lean back on it. It's not big enough for it to be TOO uncomfortable. On slow rides, just pull it to your left side and it sits next to you without having to take it off. On faster rides you can put it on the floor and put your leg through the strap (that's what I did for Test Track).

::yes:: I totally agree

My DD & I have the above bagallini as well. I would often flip the bag around to the front if I was in and out of the bag a lot, and to give my shoulder a rest.

The two things DD and I both didn't like was that the strap wouldn't stay adjusted - the buckle was always slipping - and the fact that your thumb could get caught in the buckle and it hurt like heck to pull it out!

Overall though, I found it to be a good bag and I liked all of the pockets for organization.

I got the Bagallini Large Wallet Bag because I prefer to wear my bag on my waist when in the parks. It's really roomy with lots of compartments and can be worn four different ways including around the waist and over the shoulder. I haven't used it yet, I'm saving it for our trip in September but I was very impressed with it when it arrived.

Anyone use the Baggalini Urban Backback? It is smaller than the messnager bag. I would like something a little smaller than the messanger bag as it is just my mom and I going and she is a grown up :yay: I may just need to carry things like poncho's and maps, small first aid kit, etc. a few little items for the two of us.

Thanks

I like one that you can get on eBay better. The design and size are almost identical. The one on eBay is butter soft leather. The person who sells them has this title: Designer Leather Shoulder Bag Sling Purse Backpack Tote

It's buy-it-now for $6.75 with $7.95 shipping.

I just returned from Disney and using the Baggalini bag. While I did love all of the compartments (especially the pocket in the strap where I stashed our park tickets and FastPasses), I didn't like the way I had to use the same shoulder every day. After my 2nd park day, my neck and shoulder were sore. It also slipped to the side alot as I walked. And I wasn't even carrying a lot of things. :confused3

I wouldn't use this bag again at Disney. I think a backpack the same size and weight would have worked better for me. Live and learn...
