Bag search??s Fanny pack vs cargo pants

We have traditionally taken small backpacks or fannypacks to the parks, at Christmas we tried to become less bag oriented to avoid the bag search. This trip (next week, yay) I bought cargo shorts for DH and found cargo style capris for me (really? how odd!). With the recent increase in security, has anyone had to stop yet for pocket checks? Don't mind looking wider with pockets, but if we'll have to stop anyway, just as well take a bag.

We were there last November and DH always wore khaki cargo shorts and no one ever asked to search the pockets.

Not once in my life have I ever been asked to empty my bulky pockets no matter what types of pants I wore to WDW. Wear the cargos and have a great time speeding through the line!!

We went last month and that is why my dh wore his cargo shorts. The lines for bag check were long and we never had to wait. As long as you do not have a bag you can walk right in.
