Bag policy for rides...

I understand that Universal does not allow you to take anything on rides with you, and requires you to stow all articles in lockers before getting on the rides. Does this include belt bags/fanny packs? Also, are the lockers located before or after the queues for the lines - i.e. if I am in line for The Forbidden Journey, will I be able to carry my camera through the line to take pictures and then stow it in the lockers just before getting on?

Fanny packs are fine as long as they aren't so large that they impede the restraints. You can take your camera through the line but then it needs to be put in a pocket or your fanny pack. The lockers are before you get in the queue.

An alternate way to do this is to tell the TM before you go into the queue that you want to do the castle tour. It lets you go through a separate queue to take pictures but not ride. Then you can go and store your stuff in a locker and ride in the single rider line that usually has minimal wait.

Thanks Damo!! Glad to know I can use the belt bag. Now I just have to decide if it is worth it to buy a small point and shoot camera to carry through the lines, since my big dSLR won't fit in any fanny pack or pocket LOL!

There are only six rides with Required Lockers:
Hulk
Dragon Challenge
Forbidden Journey
Rockit
MIB
Mummy

You can bring bags on everything else.
