Has anyone tried using L.L. Bean's Healthy Back Bag to carry all their stuff in the parks? Which size? Is it better than a backpack? :confused3

I've had the Healthy Back Bag for two years now and used it on a long trip down south and some day trips closer to home.

I love it.

Somehow I ended up getting the diaper bag actually it's roomier than the other bags and doesn't scream diaper bag. (Which is great cause my son is a teen.)

It also holds my camera bag in there just fine.

Since it is the bag I plan on taking into the park with me, and since it looks like I'm going before you do, I'll let you know after how it ends up working out for me. :)

Thanks! We aren't going until January, but I've been looking around for something that's big enough to hold our regular stuff, plus a couple of Pull-ups and wipes for my DS2. L.L. Bean usually makes great products, so that's why I was curious. Please keep me posted! :goodvibes

The one I have is from Ameribag.

(I have too few posts to do links, just go to Ameribag dot com slash catalog slash product slash 32 )

The red one. It's huge.

I'm pretty sure the LL Bean ones are made by the same company, but they are smaller then the baby bag.

I have no doubt that the bag would be enough for everything you and half a small country needs.

If you do a store finder at Ameribag maybe you can find somewhere near you so you can try one of the bags on, and see how it sits on you.

I do like them better than regular backpacks. I think they are easier to put on and take off, spread the weight better and don't move when you bend down nearly as much.

So we got home in the wee hours of Sunday.

My Healthy Back Bag held everything and more that we needed. Ds and I sort of took turns carrying it.

No complaints at all about the bag. I had been a little concerned that it would be hot to carry around, but honestly I don't think it was any hotter than anything else.

I'd take it again without even thinking twice.
