I think it will depend on the CM at the time it is a bag ( you put something in it) but it is see thought and small. if you want to try to go thought the no bag line and they do not tell you anything great but they might say it is a bag

I have a bag like that that I take kayaking, and I tuck it inside my shirt. If you do that, you would not have to do bag check (much as if someone with large pockets put it in one of those), but of course you would have to take it off if you are directed to go through a metal detector.

Can you, just for the security check, take it off your neck and put it in your pocket? Or the poctet if a travel companion?

Then you can go through the bag free line and if you smell wrongoing to a security guy they'll send you to the x-ray machine. At that point you put it in the bowl l8ke everything else and walk through.

I'm the mom that usually carries the big honkin bag pack. This trip is me and my sis, adies only. Was hoping to be completely bag free until I realized most of my capris don't have pockets.
