I heard it is possible to get hold of Disney Badges in the parks!


Does anyone know where from, and how many different types there are?

If you are talking pins (badges), you can get them in all the parks and there are thousands of them.
They have
ones on rides
resorts
characters
year ones
DVC ones
high school musical ones

The list can go on

Hi
If you mean Cast member type badges, you can get prince or princess (blue or pink) on Main Street USA and get them engraved.
I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the shop, our DD has one saying offical princess. ha ha ha ha

Hi and welcome to the DIS
If you mean Disney Pin Trading there are literally thousands of them from the Disney Parks all over the world. You can buy them from stores/ carts and then you can swap them with other guests and Disney castmembers (workers in the Disney parks). Some are limited edition (only so many - say 500 or 2000 will be made and sold) or they can be open edition. Like the previous poster said, they can be themed to attractions/ characters/ shows/ resorts etc.

You can also get free 1st visit, Happy Birthday, Anniversary, Honorary citizen and family reunion badges. You can get these from the hotels, city hall and in some of the shops.

Only 5!! DH and I bought over 40 last month at Disneyland!

you can get the "First Visit" badges or "buttons" at any of the hotels front desks or at any of the Guest Services found in the parks. You can find Guest Services on each park map near the entrance and a CM with be happy to help you and wish you a wonderful visit. Make sure it's placed somewhere it can easily be seen on a top or bag strap and watch the magical wishes and welcomes come your way not just from CMs but from other guest too
