Bad yearbook photos

I've been scrapbooking my highschool years and I still can't believe how BIG my hair was!! How did we ever think 6 inch high bangs and wings looked cool?
I swear I went through a can of Aqua Net (Extra Super hold in the pink can) every 3 or 4 days. YIKES!
Who else will admit to rocking the "mall bangs"???

I did, I could go to sleep and my bangs would be intact the next morning

We called it the "Suburban Claw" and yes, I had one!!

We called it the "Satellite dish" back home. And yes, I was definitely picking up signals myself. The prices we paid to look "cool" when we were younger. Just be glad that you can look back on it and laugh. I still cringe at the clothes I used to wear.

I remember wearing those slouchy socks two pairs of different colors....oh my!

Yes! And they were pulled on over the jeans that were folded over and held with either a safety pin or were then rolled to allow them to stay put.

Ugh. It was the early 70s and I wore my hair down to my shoulders and parted down the middle, all one length, never pulled back. My hair is straight as a board and we didn't have blow dryers back then, so no root lift. I had to wash it every day or it just looked like a slick greasy mess. My face is rather round so it just looked like a string mop on my head.
