Bad Week

This is an awful week. I'm really beginning to dislike living in Florida. They're finding all the hijackers stuff around here. And now there's a hurricane headed right for us tomorrow. They've cancelled school. I was supposed to go to Disney for my birthday! And then of course there was Tuesday. Sorry, just felt the need to complain.

<font color=blueviolet size=4>I totally agree!! Ok, last Thurs. I failed my driving test cuz I made a stupid mistake, I got sick on Saturday & still am (just a cold.. but it's a pain), then the tragedy in the US, & yesterday we cancelled our disney cruise (that leaves tomorrow & we were going to be on for my mom's b-day) b/c we KNEW we wouldn't make our flight (the wait to cross the border is over 12 hours & our flight is leaving from Buffalo). I just want to make it clear that i'm in no way trying to sound self-centered, b/c I could care less when we go on our cruise (it's rescheduled for oct. 14... the day after MY birthday.. hehe)... right now, I'm just thankful that I have my family alive & here w/me... even if this week HAS sucked....

It's ok, I complain a lot. I think it makes me feel better to complain. We all have our bad weeks sometimes. My week was so-so. But just think TODAY IS FRIDAY!!!!! Thank God!

Hey guys, I haven't been on the boards lately, b/c of what happend this week.... I just want to share my story about the attacks... I live in NJ and my dad works in NYC. On tues morning, my dad had a sinus headache and didn't leave for work... When he did leave, it was 9:00 and he heard about what happened on the radio and turned around and came home... I was sOoOoO scared in school b/c i didn't kno if he had gone to work or not Also, my uncle actually worked at the WTC. He was running late on tues and was just coming out from the subway under the WTC when the first plane hit. Police told him to get out and just RUN. That's what he did... I f he had been in his office (on the 101 floor) he prolly would have died. Since I live close to NYC, I kno many people who have realtives who work in NYC. A few of my friends lost uncles/aunts, but no one, thank god, lost one of their parents. Today (friday) in school, it was red white and blue day. Amazing, EVERYONE had red white and blue on. I mean EVERYONE. and not just a tiny bit of each color but TONS. This tragedy has really united America.

I think this has been a bad week for everyone! Luckily the tradegy on Tuesday did not affect me personally, but I about start to cry when I think of all the people who it did affect. Hopefully the weekend is better for everyone!

The week started out okay for me but got worse and today was just horrible.

Wow - feel the same way! I think because everyone is so emotionally drained this week, teachers are on short circuits - I got yelled at by so many of them, and I am not a bad student - I get O's in citizenship, etc. Plus, I got called on for so many answers in class. After Tuesday, it was very hard to concentrate on homework, so when teachers called on me for answers, I was not prepared as I normally am - it sucked basically. My parents have been stressed out too - I am hyper sensitive this week due to everything, and they seem to be on the warpath (I am sure this is due to everything.) NO ONE had a good week that I have spoken to.
