Bad Weather Coming to Ontario

Ok.... It may just be me since we are leaving tomorrow for WDW but we are supposed to get a Heck of a storm...

PLEASE pray that it doesn't get bad enough to cancel flights... I will cry :-(

What airport are you flying out of?

Looks like our area (Windsor / Detroit) may get between 4" - 8" of snow in the morning and freezing rain in the afternoon. Not good. Let's hope the weather man is wrong.

Hi. DD19, her aunt and cousins are on flight right now. Heading to Florida for the Disney Cruise on Sat. Her aunt is a travel agent and I guess half of her clients booked for the cruise are to be leaving on a 4:00 Friday afternoon from Buffalo.

Good luck with your travel plans rainstar! We are driving from Ottawa to Toronto tomorrow morning for a basketball tournament our daughters are participating in over the weekend and I'm so nervous. Expect it to be a very long drive, but we'll just take our time and hope for the best...

Well things have not worked out for me... I am still at home... our flight got cancelled.
So... I just hope we make it out of here tomorrow.

It is disappointing but at least you are safe. Hoping you get out safe asap. Enjoy your trip once you arrive.

Last summer, our very first trip to WDW after waking up at 3:30 am getting to the airport for 5:30 am for our 6:30 flight, we were told our flight would be delayed after sitting on the plane for a half hour. We deplaned only to be told our flight would not be leaving due to mechanical issues.

The next few flights were all booked so they suggested to go to another airport on a MUCH later flight, like a 2 pm flight with a connection. We had no way to the new airport, so the airline cabbed us there no charge. The downside we got to WDW about 10 pm, we were supposed to arrive at 1 pm. But we were safe at least.

Big hugs to you for your trip being delayed...I know how sad I was too. I was sooo disappointed. But the next day arriving at MK to see the castle just in time for the Dreams Come True Parade I was crying cause I couldn't believe I was there and forgot all about earlier troubles.

So sorry rainstar.

My sister and her family are stuck in Buffalo. They were also supposed to fly out today and their flight was cancelled. Such a bummer. They are flying out tomorrow at 5pm.

I feel so bad for them that their vacation is cut short by one day.

Darn snow!

I hope you have a magical time once you get to Orlando. Hang in there.....the warm sunshine will be upon you before you know it!
