Bad Travel Agent

Our travel agent was not good. We are back now... Should I say something to the agency or just let it go?

Examples, in case you are curious...

She promised a $75 gift card if we booked, then sent $25. I replied to the email that she told me that in, she apologized and said she'd send another $50 that day. I got an envelope post marked over a week later . It arrived a couple days before we left... Another $25. Complained again and she said she thought she sent the right amount but would send $25 to our room so it was there when we checked in... We got it the day before we checked out. I asked the hotel everyday before that, too.

She gave us lots of incorrect info... Too many to list.

In same email as the gift card, she said there'd be an in room surprise for my kids. There wasn't.


She told me she'd ordered our ME tags 2 months prior. I didn't get them so I asked again at a month out and she said she'd reorder them that day. 2 weeks later, she said I should have them... I called Disney and she didn't order until two days before I called... They came in time, but she lied and that irritates me so.

Wwyd? It won't affect me again as I obviously won't use her... Or the agency again but I sort of feel like the agency should know.
 
I would talk to the agency. Like you said you will not use her again, but she gives the group a bad name and is a reason many people do not use a TA...most TA's especially Disney ones are much better.

I hope you still had an amazing trip.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Maybe she was new or just not a Disney specialist.

I would politely explain to the agency what your concerns were and just not use them again. I do think both positive and negative feedback is appreciated by the agency to make any corrections needed.
 
I would let the agency know.

There are too many great agents out there for any agency to be satisfied with a bad one.

Also, gotta wonder whether she was planning to keep the gift cards she kept forgetting to send you. Her employer deserves to know she may be pocketing client's money.

Excellent point and the only way they would know is if someone brought it to their attention.

I would also say something. If I owned an agency, I would want to know if one of my agents was treating our customers like this.
