Bad Timing for Peak Fall colors here...

All of the trees here are just now approaching peak - it was lovely here yesterday. Gorgeous colors.

Today, however, we're getting very strong winds and rain. It'll likely knock a lot of the leaves off.

I was hoping for a few more days of autumn beauty.

How are the colors where you are?

There are still lots of pretty colors..But not sure how much longer it will last..

It isn't raining here, but we've got the strong winds. Hopefully they'll blow most of the leaves over to the neighbour's yard.

The colours were stunning last week, probably at their peak.

Got the wind to, but leaves arent ready to fall, but then again we dont get color out here.

Has been stormy here. A lot of rain and some pretty good wind. The leaves are still hanging on and not to many have changed all the way. We're a few weeks away from peak.

Our leaves are changing so slowly. The weather has been strange today it snowed!
I thought it would be fun this to take a series of pictures from my bathroom window (actually standing on the side of the jacuzzi) of the leaves changing. I try and take one every few days. Here are some from the past. We haven't reached these color yet. Soon I hope.

Here in SW Ohio, we don't have as much red and orange, but beautiful yellow and golds. This past weekend was Tall Stacks in Cincinnati, and as we went on a lunch river cruise in the valley, the trees all above us were perfect.

Some trees at my house are already bare, but the maple and bradford pear have just now begun to drop leaves.

Deb, I think your fall pictures of the trees and fields in the distance are perfect. What a pretty view you have from the jacuzzi.

circus slim, is that a walking stick? I'm not familiar with that character.

I was thrilled last week when a walking stick graced my window by the computer. It's the first that I've seen in the "wild", that is my own back yard!
