The 9:30pm checkin is absurd. And I would've been livid. I think though part of the issue may have been that you checked in 2 days post Charley. I imagine that is why it was overbooked and there were many pets. I recall reading that the Loews Hotels were inundated because they accept pets. Now flipside, we too checked in at Saratoga Springs on 8/15. I was not happy that checkin took 30 min. But our room was ready and there were no problems. However, we were told staffing was an issue.

I have to say that if we experience anything like that when we go in late December, my darling wife may discretely raise the roof...........there is nothing more potent than a woman wronged!! They better hope they get our reservations correct, or I have a feeling we'll OWN the place by the new year!!!!!!!!!
