Bad SPAM

I went to a party over the weekend and one of the guests brought something involving SPAM. Well, I am not a fan of SPAM, so I stayed away from it. Now I hear that the people who dared to try it got sick! Don't people realize how nasty SPAM is? Boy, I'm glad I didn't have any.

It probably wasn't the Spam, but maybe somethng mixed with the Spam. There are so many preservatives in the stuff I can't imagine a bacteria could live!

That said, what hostess serves Spam to guests???? Even if the host secretly likes it, not many would admit to it! Spam is kind of a 'closet food!'

When I was in community college, we did a show called "Ten Little Indians". The props list called for 'tinned beef'. We had no idea what tinned beef was or where to find it. We just used Spam.

On the last night of the show, about 2 hrs before curtain call, I caught one of the lead actors walking around eating Spam from the can.

We were in Hawaii during thier annual SPAM Jam (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4655172/). SPAM is very popular in the islands. They had a raffle and the grand prize was a trip to the SPAM Museum (http://media.hormel.com/templates/knowledge/knowledge.asp?id=9&catitemid=16) in Minnesota. Since we're from Wisconsin, we passed!

Just to clarify, the hostess didn't serve it, a guest brought it. (Yes, my friends are insane, which is why they are my friends. The SPAM thing was beyond my control, though!)

There's about a hundred jokes I could say, but few which wouldn't get deleted.

I know someone who has been to the Spam Museum. A kid who is a huge fan of all things Spam. They had to work it into a family vacation.

Someone I know used to work in a store where they sold Potted Meat. I'm not quite sure what that it, but I think it must be WAY worse than Spam. Anyway, people were forever changing the Potted Meat sign to Rotted Meat by adding a leg to the P. I think Rotted might be a better name anyway.
