Had a phone call from the coach company a couple of days ago to say that our cheapo coach trip to disney on xmas eve was being cancelled due to lack of numbers. was so upset. we were so looking forward to this.
Phoned round countless coach companies, and couldnt find anywhere else that was doing a trip over christmas, so didnt think it was going to happen :sad: :eek::sad:and was getting used to the idea of sitting around being miserable on christmas day wishing I was at disney.

Then, wonderful hubby suggested pricing up a trip with eurostar, and onsite hotel just to see what it would be. Well, its over double what the coach trip cost, and we said sod it and WE JUST BOOKED IT. WHOOHOOO. :cheer2:

We are off on the eurostar from london on christmas eve, and arrive at about 2pm, and apparantly they then take your luggage to the hotel, and you go straight to the parks :banana: and can go in the parks earlier than public. We are staying at the Santa Fe (it was the cheapest hotel, but still bloomin expensive!), and leave on the 27th at 6pm, so we can be in the parks for 3.5 days which is great.

I am soooooo happy, as this new trip is much better than the original one, so I am kind of glad it got cancelled!! It has much nicer and faster travelling, and this is the first time we have ever stayed onsite, which is very exciting. :woohoo:

We have booked lunches in Silver Spur steakhouse for xmas day, and Blue lagoon for boxing day, but not really sure what to do for meals the rest of the time, but dont think we will have alot of spare cash!

:banana::santa::banana::santa::banana::santa:

Cant wait, cant wait, cant wait, gonna explode !!

Only 26 days till we go :yay:

Well done you - I'm sure your new trip will be much better than the coach trip. I would LOVE to go over xmas...one day! Happy planning!

So pleased to hear the good news, and envious too - I have always wanted to stay over Christmas itself! Have a brilliant time.:)

See, every cloud has a silver lining. :goodvibes

Have a fantastic time, we stayed over Christmas in 2005 and it was :cloud9:
