Bad news and Good news for me

Hi,
Well as some of you may remember I had booked to go for Halloween 30th october-4th November as MIL would like to see DD and DS at dlp, I had a phone call this morning as she has had a very important appointment come through and guess what.... Oh yes it's while we are away . SO I called ta this morning to explain my situation and we could change our dates so we then looked at going for christmas season 20th November 5 nights/6days, Dh then put a spanner in the works by saying how much is it to upgrade from HNY (where we were previously staying) to the DLH so ta called Disney and the difference in price from what we are paying now is..... £57 so we have jumped at the chance and i am once again a happy bunny . just waiting for the phone call from ta now to confirm it's all changed

thanks guys i'm a little bit not going for halloween but i am super to be staying at the dlh and i soooo loved the christmas season last year so i am over the moon

Thanks kizzabel, i really love Christmas season at dlp and MIL has only ever been once and that was in June 2007 and she loves Christmas so we can't wait to take her. DS was only 18 months last christmas so did not understand Santa, hopefully this year he will as he will be 2 and a half. DD will be 5 on our next trip and will be in full Santa mode .

Fab news I love the DLH I always say we'll go back there but always get all sensible and book somewhere cheaper. DH 40th is 2013 so am thinking that might be the year

Shame you're not going for Halloween but amazing that you're going to be able to stay at the DLH for a Christmas trip. I'm rather jealous!
And Halloween is another excuse for going back. Especially if your DH even said so himself. Make him put it in writing!

loladelorean, dh is a closet dlp fan he has spent all afternoon looking on youtube at the dlh and keeps going "ooooo they have this there and oooo did you know......" i thought he may have been more upset that he is not going for halloween but staying at the dlh is making it up to him. lets hope the weather is more kind to us then last November

i'm so excited to stay in the dlh all done up for christmas . When i have my little walk through it in july I will be shouting and dancing around singing "i'm staying here in November" lol

We stayed there for my birthday last week and it really was everything I hoped it would be, it was worth every last penny.
