Bad experiences in-room sitters?

Has anyone recently had any bad experiences with the in-room sitters? I have heard a lot of positive experiences (esp. Fairy Godmothers) but I am considering a night out while at Disney and was wondering if anyone has had a bad experience. Thanks!

I'd say the lack of any posts on this answers the question. Good to know as I want to surprise my wife with a night out as well!

I worried a lot for no reason. I'm so glad we went ahead and did it. She said she felt bad that she didn't play with him after she brought a whole bag of toys and books with her. He just wanted to sleep. NO problem! That was what he needed. We went to Cirque with our older two toward the end of the vacation - he needed the rest!

There was a minimum number of hours we had to pay her for. I think it was four. We were gone longer than that, but I remember somebody posting that it caught them off-guard. Something like if they'd known they were going to be charged for the extra hour, they'd have gone to DTD.

.....after me and the wife had a great night at PI, we came home to find our in room babysitter with a crockpot full of some meat thing she made...and no sign of our son anywhere!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Canibal babysitter!!!

polkadotminnie...dont worry....they really are "all that"...my son was disappointed when we returned..he was having too much fun without us!!!

the babysitters that Disney recommends are top notch!!!

I have to agree, the babysitters from Fairy Godmothers and Kids Nite Out are wonderful. If there had been any bad experiences, we certainly would have heard about it here and I can't remember reading any bad posts about them.
