From the article:
~Now the family have been moved to Disney's lavish, bayside Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.~
~A Disney spokeswoman said: "This family has received compensation from us numerous times over the past five years, and they continue to return.~
Seems to me they are professional “complain for an upgrade” artists.
What they encountered, if accurate, is definitely not acceptable and I would have asked for a new room as well. But given they were moved, new complaints, moved again to GF it seems Disney did right by the family so I’m not sure why this story went to the “news”.
You can come across any or all of these issues at ANY resort. How the company deals with it is what they should be judged on and IMO Disney went above and beyond.
