Bad Day-computer crash

Thank goodness I fixed this computer problem! I'll never trust anything from walmart again! I loaded a photo CD on my computer and it completely crashed my system! I had to reinstall my entire system and lost all of the papers and everything I had on here from college-and I had some really good papers and information stored here. Thank goodness i'm out of college now, that would have been devastating had it happened while I was still in school. As it was I had a near meltdown! I am so glad to just be able to be typing this right now and to read the messages on the DIS board! I'll have to think of my vacation in august and it will give me happy thoughts, even though I lost every bit of valuable information on my computer tonight. Oh well there are worse things!! Something similar happened to me last month, right before finals (I'm in college). Only it was when I tried to download something from Kazaa. I called Dell and they were able to help me reinstall the system so that I wouldn't loose any of my files. But some stuff still works funny, and wouldn't you know it, Kazaa isn't working!

Yeah stinks hey? I've recently had to do a similar thing.........had lots of stuff on here that the boys had needed for school & now it's all gone.

You should really think about getting an Apple. You can get an eMac for like $799. Throw your pc junk away and never look back!
