Anyone know if Mobile order to go at the Wave has the bacon and eggs? Or do you have to go in and order it? If you have to go in, what days does the Wave have the bacon and eggs even though it isn't on the menu?

The Bacon and Eggs is not on the official menu so I don’t think it will be available via mobile order, but it seems to always be available when dining there. I was there two different nights while staying at the Contemporary two weeks ago, and asked for it both times. They didn’t even question it and told me great choice. One of the waiters said it was their most requested appetizer.

What is the B&E Appetizer ? Would I order it over easy?
Just found the other thread June 26 on disboards... Hope it is combined
Has anybody tried the other version at the Brown Derby?

You don't over order easy, its not that type of bacon and eggs. From Disney: Bacon and Eggs – Maple-lacquered Pork Belly with Perfect Egg and Tillamook Smoked Cheddar Grits

How much does it cost? If I were to just eat that, is it pretty filling?

@nlenguyen I want to say it was $14, and it's an appetizer. My wife and I shared it, tasty and worth it but not really filling as an entree. As it's not on the menu my guess is they have a limited number and when they are out they are out.

The egg is Sous vide style. It’s very strange, I have made them before, they are very... odd.

It was delicious - if I knew they were still serving it I might have made a reservation there. It wasn't on the menu anymore so I thought it was gone,

I was able to order it at lunch time twice as well back in August. It is delicious and to me it was enough for a meal.
I also love their spinach soup when they have it. I am not a spinach eater or really a soup eater, but it is amazing!

Are we able to order this for breakfast? We are going here twice next week and wondering if we can have it in the morning rather than with our TG reservation!

@Sydnerella my understanding is that is a dinner item only due to the preparation and cooking time needed. Could be that it's changed but that's my understanding.

We were told in July that it is a dinner item, but always ask at lunch and if they can make it, they will. I was able to get it both times I asked at lunch.

I'm very funny with my eggs. Cannot be runny at all! Is the egg runny in this dish? The Wave is my favorite restaurant at WDW, but this is the reason I haven't ordered this yet. The fear of the runny egg!

If it is the style I believe it to be, the yoke isn’t really runny. It depends what temperature they cook them to. I have done some, and they turned out like this photo. It’s more like a custard texture, which matches the description from dfb review. I didn’t like the ones I made myself because the white was too “under” for me to enjoy, and the yolk was a strange jelly texture. (I haven’t ever had them there either, I am just using my knowledge of Sous vide eggs from experience and reading the reviews of the item).
