Backstage magic tour - worth it if I've done KTTK?

I am trying to decide on a tour for our upcoming trip. I will be solo for most days so I want to plan a tour to keep my busy while hubby is in meetings. I have already done KTTK. I totally loved the behind the scenes stuff and thought it was amazing. So now I am considering Backstage Magic. I just wonder if it is too repetitive. I have to imagine pretty much all the MK stuff is the same. (or is it?) It is also a lot more money - worth paying almost twice as much?

My other thought is doing the behind the scenes tour at AK - I think it is called Wild by Design? This isn't the animal care/backstage safari, but more of how the park is designed, etc. Seems like it would be a lot like the KTTK in that respect.

Anyway, I'd love some opinions on whether the Backstage Magic tour is worth it, especially from those who have done KTTK also. Thanks!

I have done both and while there are parts of the KTTK that are repeated, it is a completely different experience. You are in the MK for a fairly short time. On Backstage Magic, you see parts of the World that you would never see otherwise. I absolutely loved both tours and would recommend both of them:thumbsup2

Have to agree with Puggymom. While there is a little bit of repeat once you get to MK, it is small percentage of the overall tour. Backstage Magic takes you areas in WDW you'll never see otherwise. I mention on another thread getting to see the building where they make and keep the holiday decoration for the parks, resorts and DCL. WOW! I had no idea this existed till I took this tour. I absolutely enjoyed this tour.

I'm doing Backstage Safari in September. Looking forward to it.
