the only problem is they probably made the FP out to be more than it really is.

Yes, that's really my gripe. When they say you get VIP fastpasses, that implies something like a dream FP or the press FPs rather than a sparse number that won't even get you on all the FP attractions.

Oh well, it will be worth it for the private Turtle Talk, especially if we get to see it behind the scenes. On DCA day, I can just spend the day hanging out in the singles line at Soarin' and be perfectly content.

sadly a behind-the-crush is what i was secretly hoping for myself. just me though. i realize with kids as part of the group (assuming there are any), real backstage stuff is going to be severely limited.

i'm going to hate myself for asking, but did you visit the disneyland suite as well? i really wanted to see the mickey mirror at the DLH. they told me to ask the guides for all my requests and see what can be done.

i really don't want to know too much about all this though. gotta leave something to adventure.

I'm the sort that wants to know everything! (Then again, it doesn't even bother me when people tell me the surprise ending to movies before I see 'em.) Hack2112, you need to write a full report on other site so that the immediate gratification people like me can find out all the gory details.

But then again, maybe it's good to force myself to wait for this one. A lesson in patience. Only two more weeks from today!

One of the staples to an ABD trip are the lanyards and pins. Backstage Magic is no exception to this rule.

A little something to see while at Disneyland, if you are interested:

-Flag Retreat Ceremony: Located at Disneyland at 4:30pm. This is according to the current calendar on Disneylands website. I don't recall seeing it on the schedule at the park. Do check it out! Every night is a little different. Sometimes they have the Disneyland Band. Sometimes they bring in the Dapper Dans. They do take it very seriously. They also announce each Branch of the Military and ask people to come forward to stand as they sing and lower the flag. They stand at attention, and it can be very moving.

-Tomorrowland Terrace presents Scot Bruce: I don't know how many Elvis fans are out there, but this guy really does a nice tribute. Kinda looks like him. He was in Faith Hill's music video and played Elvis. Check out youtube.com to see if you want a preview.

On a side note, don't forget hidden mickeys. And, there is a "W D" in Toontown somewhere. (If you are not familiar with it already.)

Brad, I don't know about that one. Would you mind sending me a PM? Or, do you want to wait and see what they say? I love hidden mickeys. I wish Disneyland had more like Disney World.

Also, Indy has a huge one. The cast members say it's the biggest. It's very cool!
