Not sure yet what I'm going to do. I have a new Halloween top I will probably wear if I don't bring a costume. If I bring a costume, it's going to have to be a simple one!

Leaving in 7 1/2 days!!! I'm so excited, but have so much work to do to get ready to leave. Haven't started packing yet. It's going to be a busy weekend getting ready to leave!

We were on the backstage magic last year (2013) on Halloween. Our group attended Mickey's Halloween party with the tour group on Halloween (all adults on our tour). We had a great time. When I called ABD to book the tour I asked if they could include the Halloween party (they did, tickets to party were included in our tour). It was great! Just call and ask and make sure you are at the park on a night they are having a party.

I think we can safely disclose that our guides (Natalia and Christian) were absolutely great - and in costume for the Halloween party at Disneyland. We should have realized that something was "up" based on the film shown on the bus ride from Glendale...

Just back late Tuesday night from the BSM tour and a few extra days at DL. ABD held true to their tradition of providing several surprises during the Halloween party night which made the experience first class all the way and the party more than worth it!!!

Hope that doesn't give away any surprises!

I am wondering about the day you went to MHP. Was it the same day you arrived at Disneyland? Since they haven't released the party dates yet, I am thinking the parties would most likely be on Tuesdays and Fridays based on last year. Crossing my fingers it will be a part of our itinerary!! ABD called me back today. They instructed me to send back the ticket and order form to the ticket address which they gave me. They also said to make copies of both. They told me I would be refunded by DL tickets once they received the ticket in return.

So, I'm actually still trying to decide if I want to return it. I'm staying till Tuesday morning the following week and there are 2 parties after the tour is over meaning DL will be closed for 2 of the 4 extra nights that I am staying. I don't know....I might want to wander in and out of DL on one of those nights even though I might not spend the whole night there on that Monday after the tour. Still trying to decide.

I don't know if the tour is sold out. I think there were 5 or 6 openings last March when I registered. If it's not sold out now, it's close.

I'm just in the thinking stages of what I want to take with me, but have been replenishing my travel supplies when I see things. I keep my toiletry, etc bags stocked regularly anyway. Really excited!

I can't find the dates listed for the Halloween parties..are they on a site somewhere?

Happy September! Just a couple quick questions... Do you remember how much time you had between arriving in Anaheim and the start of the evening festivities? Did you still have dinner at Big Thunder Ranch? Thanks!!!

On the early July BSM, we had 15 minutes from getting off the bus until we were to meet in the lobby to head to DL. Enough time to get our room packets, run up to drop off things and head out.

Granted we didn't rush from the Studios and traffic was bad...so I suspect that was a bit unusual.

Our trip has tickets to Mickey's Halloween Party the night we arrive in Anaheim, so I am also hoping to hear from someone on last year's trip to find out if the dinner plans were modified that night.

In October 2013, we instead had dinner at Storytellers - presumably because Big Thunder Ranch was in use for party-related events. I also recall having about an hour between arrival and regathering for dinner - but that may be dependent on traffic and other unpredictable factors. We didn't arrive in the park at the very start of the party, but since we were back-doored into a number of events/rides, that wasn't a big concern.
