I'm not booked on the trip but was on this Adventure in July of 2010. It was an amazing trip. You're going to love it.

Thanks, Christy! We are very excited! I've avoided looking at the trip reports because they all have "spoiler alerts" and I don't want to spoil the surprise. I'm hoping to connect with fellow travelers on this thread.

How many people were in your group? Do you think teenagers will enjoy this trip - they are big movie fans.

We had right around 20 in our group which a good number. We had only adults in our group but I do think teenagers would enjoy it. As Disney fans, it makes it even better.

Wonderful! We are very excited!
We are a family group of four, me, my husband, and two sons who will be 13 and 15 at time of travel. We are great Disney and movie fans.
We plan to stay a few extra days following the tour.
I called ABD last week and sixteen people had booked this trip.

excited to be going on my first ABD.

i'll be going to backstage magic 7/17 - i'm taking my mom. it'll be a fun girls trip for us!! we both love disney!

neither of us has ever been to California before, so we're excited! we are especially looking forward to spending some time on rodeo drive.

Nice to see you're also having a mother-daughter trip!

It'll be our first time in California too. Actually just my third trip to the States (I've visited DC and NY and WDW) and my mothers second trip (just WDW).

We are huuuuuuge Disney-fans. We went to WDW in february 2009 and are Disneyland Paris regulars! We live in Belgium, so Paris is just a 3-hours drive away...

Can someone tell what the californian weather is like in july? My guess is it'll be hot, but there are different kinds of hot I really don't know what to expect, so it's kinda hard to start planning what to wear...

I'm really excited for the trip! Can anyone tell me if and when we should take care of some of the practical stuff, like filling in some more forms and things like that? Sometimes I get a little worried that some of the paperwork won't make it to our adress because we live relatively far away....

Yay! Fellow travellers!!!

We are so excited!!!!!It is our first trip to California. We are very enthusiastic Disney fans and can't wait to experience the adventures in store.

Right now I am listening to the DIS Unplugged Podcast that tells about the Backstage Magic Tour. They promise to "go light on the details" because they don't want to spoil the surprises. Usually I do so much planning and research, but this time I want the surprises! I have prepared my trip scrapbook - the pages are just waiting to be filled with photos and brochures and postcards and all the tickets etc one collects along the way. We will stay a few days beyond the tour so I am planning those days. We hope to see Huntington Beach (surfing?) and Catalina Island, but are still looking into this.

45 days out we should receive some planning materials. Can't wait!!!

You're going to love Disneyland, and this whole tour. I haven't done it yet, but everyone raves about it! ABD really does it right.

Huntington Beach & Catalina are very cool, also!
