I ask this about the Disney parks and I need to know the same about the US parks. Can you leave backpacks at the ride when you get on and pick it up when you get off? Do they have lockers that will hold backpacks? Do you have to pay for all the lockers and do they have them all over the parks? Their are certain things that I have to have during the day and I need to keep them in my backpack.

There are free lockers for the rides that do not allow bags on

Rental lockers are by water rides and larger lockers in the front of the park
Pay lockers at park entrance have family reusable lockers all day long besides the once use lockers

What Mac said. I carry a backpack... Much smaller now than used to. Lockers fit a normal sized book bag packed not bluging... Though I've seen people ran a lot in a locker. I find he ride lockers very convenient. Use your knuckle to click through the screen (just trust me.)

If you have things that you will just need once through the day (medicine let's say) and you don't feel like carrying that all day they have bigger lockers at the front of the park, much like Disney, that you can rent for the entire day.

Incase you're still on a cliff about Disney... Disney is very bag friendly. There's not any rides I can think of that I haven't taken my bag on.... still thinking.

Disney is very bag friendly I know at least at EPCOT and MK. No need for lockers. I never been to AK so I can't say for them. HS I know RR you probably might need a bag for since it's a coaster that does barrel rolls, or leave it with a guest who might not want to ride. I do not know about TOT though since I never been on it.

As for Universal, as others said, if it requires you to stow it away period, they give it to you for free for the duration of your ride. Some rides you even need to stow everything on you. I've heard some people might use Child Swap as kind of a Bag Swap in the case of items that you cannot stow away (or perhaps if you do not want to use a locker you can try it as well?). However, if you go on water rides, they have lockers nearby, but unfortunately you do have to pay for them. So, if you do not want to do that, get your backpack a poncho? All joking aside, there are more bigger lockers as Mac said towards the front of the park.

For more details on which rides you need to stow away your bags on, you can find them online. I know the rides off the top of my head you need to store everything period (including what's on you) on the top of my head and that's The Hulk, Rip It Rocket, The Dragon Challenge.
