I've been looking at the Vera Bradley's and Donna Sharps, but not sure what to get. I am a mom of a 3 yo, so I do need some room for stuff. I have a few nice LL Bean back packs, but they tend to be bulky. I'm looking for something that hands-free and lightweight, yet that holds enough stuff - like a wallet, sunscreen, water, wipes, pull ups, etc. If anyone has any input on a great bag for a mom at Disney, I would love to hear what is best. Thank you!!:)

I use a Vera Hipster as my everyday purse and I love them! But, I think it may be too small as a Disney bag if you want to fit all of the items that you listed.

I personally love my Vera Bradley Cargo Sling. Although I wasn't a big fan of Vera Bradley to start, and not fond of some of the patterns, I found one I absolutely adored and was able to get it on EBAY for a reasonable price. I used it in December and it was a combo purse / diaper bag. Although my DS is potty trained, we still carry extra outfits, wipes, etc. Kids are messy, and it's good to be prepared. Heck, sometimes I'm messy! :lmao:

It's got a lot of pockets, and was easy to wear, although when I had a full container of wipes (like the Kirkland brand) it did seem a little heavy. Eventually I took to leaving the wipes in a tote bag in the bottom of the stroller, and that worked out fine. :goodvibes

My hipster is too small for me to take to WDW. I love it for the ride down, but as it doesn't really accomodate a bottle of water too easily, I just use a small backpack for the parks. I got one super cheap at Wally World for $5.

I use a Jansport sling type backpack for all my kids stuff. There is a front pocket for wipes and park maps, etc, room for changing pad and diapers plus sunscreen, change of clothes, etc. There is also a side pocket for a bottle or sippy cup.

I liked it so much I use it as my new "diaper" bag:)

I have all of the above Vera Bradley and agree that the hipster is too small for what you want. Love the cargo sling. I took something similar with our 1yo last year. I use the large backpack for my everyday diaper bag and love it. It has a zipable pocket on the back for a wallet, pouches on the side for cups, sunblock, etc., a velcro pocket on the front and plenty of space on the inside. Plus, the straps are super comfortable. If you're looking for something a bit smaller, the regular backpack maybe your best bet. Same features only smaller. My only caution it that it is much more narrow, as are the straps. Haven't decided which I'll take in sept. with a 2.5yo.

My DD has both, the large back pack & the Hipster, and the Hipster is to small for what you are planning on. I really don't want to take a chance of hers getting messed up at Disney so I ordered this cargo sling today. Someone from this site helped me with it. :goodvibes
