Can you bring backs on SM? What about Rockin Roller Coaster? Do they have lockers?

We just returned from WDW and I took a backpack on SM and RNR. What I do is put it on the floor and put my foot through the shoulder strap and then I can hold on to the handle with my hand. That way it is over my leg and can't fall out. I have never seen lockers at either place.

I do this too!

You actually have to bring your stuff on the ride with you. There are no lockers and you get onto the ride in a different place than you unload, so your stuff wouldn't be there waiting for you. Do as the PP's say and just secure your pack well.

Yes, you can. I've done it on our last couple of trips. I haul around a camera backpack for my DSLR. It's a tight fit on Space, but not so bad on RnR.

There is a small bag attached to the left side of the seat area, it is too small for my backpack so I do what others do on here, put it on the floor and slip a foot through it. Works great!

No lockers at those particular rides, but there are lockers within the parks. For SM, I put the bookbag at my feet and loop my leg through it. RnRC, I leave my bag with my DH (he does not ride "thrill" rides!). However, I believe RnRC does have something to tuck your stuff into while your on the ride and you can always stick your arm through it and put it on the seat next to you (I think I have done that once).

I stick my leg through one of the straps, then bring that strap up on my thigh and it works just fine. Enjoy. This year I'm Livin' La Vida Disney through everyone else's trips!!!

That is exactly what I do. especially on RNR.

Same here - put my leg through the strap all the way to my thigh. Never had a problem. Just don't trip on the strap getting out of the ride vehicle!

Oh, boy!!!! I did that getting off Space Mountain... Something about me and short term memory....:confused3

Just returned from a trip to 6 Flags over Texas. I hated that I had to put my bag in a locker when my husband wasn't around to hold it for me. It was only $1but it was necessary in different sections or leave my bag in one part of the park while I went to another?! Was very inconvenient.

At WDW I too put my bag on the floor with my leg through the straps. Works very well and haven't lost anything yet...

:rotfl: The ride is so exciting it pushes all your thoughts out of your head! That's what we like about Disney, right? Takes your worries away...

Yep, works well for me too!

You can do this because of the small seats. On other rides, I sling the shoulder strap through it and buckle it down. :surfweb:
