ReggieB - We have the kids guide, bought those for them when we first decided to take the little neighbor boy with us. I just love these ideas! What is good for a 4 year old. I already plan on making her a coloring book with print-outs. I'd like to get a pal Mickey, but they are so expensive. I might try Ebay! This is her first trip and it's for her B-day!

We got Pal Mickey for $27.99 plus shipping from the Character Warehouse - their phone # is 954-846-7161. I got the number from another thread here on the DIS. It is the old PalMickey - the only difference is that he is wearing his regular outfit, not the tux that this year's model is sporting. I don't know if they have any left, but it can't hurt to try! Good luck.

Sounds fabulous just as is, keep in mind if you put too much stuff in it they'll fall over on their backs like turtles. It's a wonderful idea, makes me wanna be 7 and move in with you.

Sun block. They make small roll on type that has a clip that can attach to the back pack. It is still 80s and 90s down here with strong sunburn potential.

An idea for you DD. We bought my DD a charm bracelet the last time we went from the Disney Store and it already had some charms on it put a note inside from Minnie telling her that she can't wait to see her. I don't know if they still have the bracelets but you can get a cheap one anywhere and then buy charms there. My DD had her own Disney $$'s so that is what she chose to buy and now she has a keepsake to last a life time.

I don't have any DS so I can't think of anything else that people haven't already posted.
