Backpack Cooler Advice

Hi Everyone,

Though our next trip to WDW isnt for quite some time, I am interested in finding a backpack cooler to keep water cold.

Is there anything available anywhere?

that sounds like it will be heavy on your back. I would just get a regular backpack and put water in it. When you are ready for water, ask one of the vendors for a cup with ice in it. I hear that they do this free of charge. This is what we are planning on doing in 2 weeks.

Many of the sporting good stores have them. They would be with the camping or hiking stuff.

My DH has one of these. It comes with a flat freezie pack that is sectioned for flexibility. His won't reallly cool items that aren't already cold but it will keep cold/frozen items cool for quite a while. He got it at our backpacker store.

We were there in May and remarked at how very reasonable the bottled water was in the parks, that no way would I bring my own and lug all over now that we are stroller free. Also, every counter service place gave us free ice/water in cups. I would rather be backpack free, especially with that much weight.

We use a regular backpack but carry insulated sports bottles.
