Backpack alternatives for high school girls

My DD carries a back pack from Victoria secrets. Check the web site there was more on it than at our local store. She loves it. And everything fits.

My Daughter is using a Jansport this year. A furry leopard print one. Nobody else has it and she loves that! *I love that it was only around $40

Here high schoolers carry North Face backpacks. I wonder if they or Patagonia make a messenger type bag? My dd claims to have no time to go to her locker, so she carries all books in her backpack. I have several Coach bags, but I don't think they'd hold up to holding textbooks all day, even if the OP wanted to buy her dd one.

Not typically, no. One of her friends does have the leather backpack that costs nearly $500 on that site, but she doesn't use it as a bookbag. She'll use it to bring stuff for sleepovers.

The ones most of the girls have look like giant purses, not backpacks.

That is really bad for their posture.

I haven't taken the time to read the entire thread, but I do have a suggestion that may or may not have been suggested.

I have two daughters in high school and the one that carries a backpack carries one we got her for Christmas from Victorias Secret Pink. They have quite a few patterns to choose from in different price ranges. My girls really like them.

Good luck!

Not sure if it's been mentioned but my high school daughter has a Victorinox messenger bag. It's pink and black with a padded strap- pretty big. I remember it was close to $100.00 at Kohls but we found it 2 springs ago for only $10.00 and it sure has lasted.
