I love my honey with all of my heart, but she is a really picky eater. I had everything planned out for our upcoming trip down to the meals...yes, I have to get that detailed folks. I am currently banging my head over this.

She would eat a salad with protien, like the Sesame Chicken Salad at Backlot Express or she said chicken tenders would be ok. Well, chicken tenders are only offered at Backlot Express. She hates hotdogs and is not into trying new things. She also is on this kick where she doesn't like to eat hamburgers. I don't want to eat at Pizza Planet. I would eat a Cuban at ABC, but there is nothing there for her to eat. The only thing left is the Flatbread Grill. I have never tried their food, so I can tell that this is going to be a tough sell.

ARRRRRRGH! pirate: They could have held off just one more day. Really! Maggie

Would she go for yogurt and fruit? I hate MGM CS and was planning on the Back Lot this year as well (my kids like Pizza Planet, but the last two times we went, it was so &*%^ loud, I couldn't stand it!).

Anyway, that little market right before the whole Rosie's section (THE grossest hamburgers, yuck!) has fresh fruit and yogurt.

Also, Starring Rolls sells big bagels with cream cheese. We've done that for lunch, too.

How about leaving the park and heading to one of the resorts. Between BWI, Swan, Dolphon, Y/C and B/C you should easily be able to get something that would fill the bill. The boat makes this pretty painless and allows fro some great views.

I had chicken tenders at the ABC Commissary. They might have been on the kids menu. She can order that.

I was about to ask how old your child was, then realized you're talking about an adult! Same advice...if she gets hungry enough - she'll eat!

Flatbread Grill has a couple of chicken options. One is a half a chicken with beans and rice. The other is a chicken ceasar salad wrap. Both have gotten good reviews. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was great. Maybe someone posted some pictures of the chicken dishes available there.

The chicken ceasar salad wrap is quite yummy, if that's something she'll eat. I second the above poster that the BBQ pork wrap is yummy as well.

The ABC Commissary does have a kids chicken nuggets meal :)

Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. We had one trip where my friend only ate breadsticks and cheese pizza (and this was a 20 y.o at the time).

Yes, it is outdoors, but I believe they have chicken fingers at Rosie's over by ToT.

Also, don't be afraid to order off the kid's menu. Sometimes I will do that, especially if I am not overly hungry and don't want a ton of food. They never ask to see the child when you order

I had planned to eat CS at Backlot Express in early Oct. We also have a picky picky eater among us. Does this mean that the Backlot Express will not be open then? :confused3

The rehab is a 10 day rehab from 9/20 to 9/30, so the DIS'er going in October should be ok.

Yes, she has her moments of Drama, as do I, like yesterday when she told me that the day before our trip, when I was counting on her to be home, in town, she is going to be in Pennsylvania....which means that now I have to take part of that day off to board the dogs. I was not a happy camper last night, but I digress.....Drama.

I am the trip planner. She could care less about this stuff, but she truly appreciates the work that I do to make our trips magical and low drama. I can drive myself nuts all that I want to before we arrive, but when we get there, it almost always runs like clockwork....weather and CM schedule changes not withstanding. She doesn't expect me to do this stuff, she doesn't ask me to do this stuff, I just like doing this stuff because it makes our trips run better.

I can't help it that she's a picky eater and neither can she. It's just the way that she is. God knows that we all have our quirks.

I appreciate all the helpful input. The meal is a dinner meal. We arrive on the day that we will be at MGM, so we will have lunch at about noon at CBR and then hit the park. We will stay until close. And, no, we don't want to do a TS meal. Thanks. Maggie
