Background Checks for Castmembers

Are certain castmembers required to have child abuse type clearances? I'm just curious, since here in PA anyone who works directly with children has to have them. So many of the jobs at WDW might at some point be that?

All park employees hired direct through Disney pass background checks and are finger printed. I'm sure they also have a minimum requirement for the third party contractors as well.
