Even though it was busy we enjoyed our 2 days ....... highs and lows as follows:
Highs: The Christmas parade...loved it!
Riding Space Mountain with the kids for the first time: the first time
they summoned up the courage to ride a looping coaster, and guess
what! They loved it!
Pirates of the caribbean...again and again and again!
Blue Lagoon...as good as ever!
Annettes.....food as good as ever, but long wait in the cold to
get in!
Holiday Inn....great!
VEA Shuttle....very convenient!
Lows: The crowds, particularly at parade times.
Didn't see any snow falling in Main Street
Couldn't find a Christmas 2005 pin.
The hot wine from the Bavarian market stall...yeuch!
The cold cold weather (although not as cold as I had expected!)
Missing the VEA shuttle on the way out, having to take the RER and
missing the last pink shuttle to Holiday Inn.....fortunately managed to
grab a cab, otherwise a very long walk in the freezing cold lay
ahead!
Turning up for the fantasyland Breakfast, only to be turned away as
we weren't staying on site...and I was under the impression that
Annual Pass Holders could eat there. Whoops!
Overall.....I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with the Christmas
theming.....I think my expectations were high after Halloween, and
maybe I expected something out of this world. Still very festive, but
maybe just not as much as I imagined!
I will try and do a trip report at some point.
