This year for some reason my younger son refused to go most rides so we needed to do other stuff. My boys are just about 6 (2 weeks) and just about 5 (2 months). Thanks to this board and some friends we had some other stuff to do and they were the things both my kids loved the most (except for the Buzz ride which is my older son's favorite). I just thought I would list them out here for others to enjoy:
Building and racing robots in Innoventions - We ended up going here 3 times in 5 days (we now have the plastic parts to 10 robots! and the parts kept them completely entertained throughout dinner on 2 nights)
Jr Chef in the Land - very nice CMs and lots of fun plus you get cookies!
Kidcot in both the countries and Future World in Epcot and in Animal Kingdom
the petting zoo in Animal Kingdom
those silly squirting water fountains that kids can get soaked in
Magical Beginnings - we actually went both Friday and Sunday and my YDS rode on Dumbo and the carousel about 10 times with no wait. My ODS and I went from ride to ride to ride with absolutely no wait. It was great.
We had a great time but I was completely surprised by my YDS since last year he was more adventuresome then my ODS! I had to revamp my plans completely to accomodate his new found fear of "anything high, fast, scary or with crocodiles".
Oh, the crowds were pretty much non-existent every morning. We rode Buzz 6 times in a row on Friday, 4 times on Sunday and 6 times on Tuesday. We were out of Mk by 10:30 on both Sunday and Tuesday and Buzz was not the only ride we went on.
