Im back... and loved every single minute of it... heres the report
Sunday 29th June
Woke up late at 5.30 so mad rush to leave for the airport at 6am. Picked my friend up on the way, checked in fine and had a few hours to kill in duty free etc. Flight had no delays ... arrived at CDG around 10:45 paris time. Picked cases up easy.. then went to find gate 12D to wait for a VEA.
Standing at gate 10D for ages because the gates seemed to stop at this point and there was a sign on the gate saying gate 12D so we just thought we had to wait here. After about half an hour I walked down and asked 2 ladies where we had to wait and they kindly pointed out that we was on the wrong side of the terminal and had to walk to the other. Here we found a large que of families.. we must have missed the VEA with people from our flight on. so we stood here for about another half an hour when the VEA rep informed me that we was to get on a shuttle to the other terminal and then onto the VEA. the weather was scorching and everybody was getting all hot and bothered waiting. finally the shuttle came and we all manged to climb on with our cases. When we got off we all had 2 walk another 10minutes to the VEA stand. where there was already another large group of people. after waiting another 20 mins a bus finally came and OMG.... there was absolute chaos!!!!! everybody was fighting and pushing there way on... I was pushed and prodded by a woman screaming at me saying shehad to get on first because she was in a family!! I was absolutley LIVIDDD! I can understood that she had prioroty over me and my friend but there was absolutley no need at all for her rudeness!!! We payed our 17 euros and was glad to be on our way to Santa Fe.
Got there, got our luggage and checked in, by this time our room was ready so we went 2 find it and chill out for a bit.
Then went to Mcdonalds in Disney Village and wondered down to DL and had a wonder around... went on Peter Pans flight as there was only a small que compared to other rides. The sun was absolutley roasting... we didnt expect it to be this hot and I was glad I packed my shorts now so thanks for the advice guys! then went to WDS and qued for TOT. the que was really big but we didnt mind because we LOVE this ride and went on it about 7 times throughout the holiday. walked over 2 crush and decided to go back to the room because the que was well too long and we were getting tired.
Went for a lie down for a while then to the Esso station by our hotel for water for the room and some ice lollies!
Then back to the parks for another wonder round. didnt really see any charachters this day which was a bit dissapointing.
Monday 30th June
Got up at 6.30 and went down to breakfast at 7. We had toast with lots of butter and fresh juice.
Then we went to the RER station by the Village and got a Mobilis ticket to Chatelet Les Halles and then onto Saint. Michel. Arrived here, and we decided that we wanted 2 go up the eiffel tower so walked down towards it along the seine. didnt realise how far down it was, it took us about 80 Mins to actually get down there. got there and the ques where hugeeeee, but this was something we really wanted to do, and the que actually wasnt as long as we were expecting. we paid 12 euros to go all the way to the top. It was amazing, we were scared on the first level, then even more so on the second. once we got to the second we had to que to get the lift to the third, convincing ourselves that it was the smallest part we got in the que thinking it wasnt much higher, how wrong we were lol. but it was worth it, the views were stunning and now we are glad we can say we did it. after queing to get back down, we wondered around paris for the rest of the day buying souvenirs and gifts. then we decided to get the train back before peak time to avoid the over crowding. got back to marne la vallee around 5ish. then straight to the parks, we did crush, TOT, the flying carpets, IASW, teacups, Peter Pans Flight then headed back to the hotel. This was the final of Euro 2008 night, there were thousands of spanish supporters EVERYWHERE.. the atmosphere was brilliant! and when they won... all we heard was people coming doen the corridors screaming "ESPANNNAAA".
Tuesday 1st July
Up early again for breakfast and into DL for EMH. to be honest I would have rather stayed in bed for the extra time because not many lands where open it was only Fantasyland and some parts by Space mountain, nevertheless we did Buzz, Orbitron, Peter Pans Flight, and Dumbo. Then it was straight to WDS at 10 ... we got in around 9.45 to the main building that you have to walk through and stood in the crowds in here until they opened the doors. It was lovley, and very dramatic the way they played the music and had the light effects before the doors opened, made it feel extra special. anyway the doors opened and we ran towards crush, where the que was already 90 mins long!!! but we didnt mind waiting. When we were in the que there were 2 men who started arguing, and then put his face right into the other mans face ... he was so aggressive it was scary! the poor cast Member had to fight to separate them! tbh if that was me I wouldnt have let either of them ride! there were small frightened children everywhere! it wasn't nice!!!
anyway we did crush TOT and my friend did RNR.. I chickened out at the last minute!!!!.
Then to Disney Village for dinner, we went to New York Sandwich bar and got 2 childrens meals, i got cheese sandwhich, chips, capri sun, toy and cake, for 8 euros! which was quite good!
then back to DL.... we qued for BTM.. which seemed long but went down really fast. Then onto POTC... didnt expect the 2 drops which was really funny. although the que is quite deciving we didnt realise how long it was actually inside the buliding!. Then as soon as we got out of hereI saw Alladin and Jasmine.. (I had been saying to my friend all the time that i reallllly wanted to see them haha) so I rannnnnn after them... but they kept runnig away, crowds of people where running behind them trying to take pictures it was so funny I felt like the papparazzi!!! Everybody screaming JASMINNNNEEE!!!! haha. She lept into Alladins arms and he carried her for ages... it was so cute lol. but I didnt manage to catch up with them and get my picture... they went back inside!!!
so after this we were near IASW.. where we saw cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White . it was ssooooooooooooooooo HOT! so we decided to go back to our hotel for a while. then went back down around 7ish, then back the hotel bar and then bed.
Wednesday 2nd July
Our last day. Had breaky at 7.30, went back to room and packed, had shower etc. and then checked out and headed to the parks for about 10.30. went on BTM again, then to WDS for crush but the que was ridiculous so went ont TOT for the last time!!! this time I kept my hands in the air the whole time and my bum came about 10cm of the seat haha it was so funny... the picture looked like I was having an electric shock! haaha. we stayed in the parks until about 3, and then went to Mcdonalds as we were eunning out of euros at this time. Then walked to our hotel and went to the bar for a coke and then killed some time on the computers upstairs for a while. then went to collect our luggage from the baggage room, then waited for a shuttle into the village. then got a VEA from the coach station here, which we were glad because by the time we got around all the hotels, as ours was one of the last ones we would have had to fight to get on again!... got to CDG 2 hours early for check in so lounged around, go to check in and the easyjet que was HUGEEE... so by the time we checked in we had to que for the security which was a NIGHTMAREEEE!!!..... there was about 400 people fighting to get through onr tiny little space! all sweaty and disgusting!anyway after being used to queing and making sure nobody pushed in we got through and as soon as we did it was time to board. Our flight went smoothly, only 55 minutes as we had strong winds blowing us towards liverpool. arrived at around 22:15. then went straight to bed!
Nowwww..... Just wondering when Im gunna be going back... can't wait!...x
