We had great time!!! Yes, the bed was heavenly and the baby enjoyed her crib. It rained some days, but we had our ponchos and were happy. We loved FastPast!! We(My husband,10&7 yr old and baby) checked in our rooms around 11:30am and were pleased with the renovations. Tubbi's was great only we didn't know that we could have used our refillable mugs from last year. It was still worth it to purchase them again. We had one little mix up our first full day day. We go to the parks early and return in the afternoon for RR. I had asked house keeping at 6:30Am if they could have our room cleaned by 10:00 Am and they assured me that they would. When we got back at 12:30 the room was not ready. Under other circumstances this would not be a big deal, but I had a crying 19month old that was getting her molars in. The Dolpin rose to the occasion and had our room cleaned immediatley and offered us a housekeeping credit. It's great they know how important the little things are to their guests. Last night the older kids and Dad did the E-rides in MK and stayed out till 1:00Am. This is my second stay at the Dolphin and I can't wait to go back. I wished we could have stayed longer and ate at the BlueZoo!!

Thanks for your report! I want to try The Dolphin and hopefully next year we can. Glad you and your family enjoyed it!

Can I inquire what kind of room youll had(standard, resort etc...)? Also how long did it take youll to get to MGM and EPCOT?
Thanks:jester:

It's about a 10 minute walk to Epcot and a 15 minute walk to MGM. By boat it's about 15 to 20 minutes to each park. MGM is further away but the boat goes directly there. The boat to Epcot stops at YC/BC and the Boardwalk. If lots of people are loading and unloading, it can take a while. We always walk to Epcot and usually boat to MGM.

Welcome home griff63! I was at the Dolphin last week and also had a great time. Isn't Tubbi's great! I'm glad management was so responsive when you had a problem with housekeeping.

I found the Dolphin staff much more willing to please and accomodating then any staff at the Beach Club.

We're staying at the Dolphin in May. What type of room did you have? Did you ride the buses? If so, how long did it take to get to MK?

The bus ride to MK varied. Most of the time the bus went directly from the Dolphin to MK, especially in the morning, but the bus did stop at BC/YC once. When there was no traffic, the bus ride was only 10-15 minutes, and with traffic about 20 minutes. It was also nice that a bus to MK came about every 5-10 minutes. On the way back from MK (or AK), if you don't see a Swan/Dolphin bus, jump on the Boardwalk bus. It's only a 5 minute walk from the Boardwalk Inn to the Swan/Dolphin.

Thanks SwilPhil,
We were nervous about riding the bus, but it doesn't sound that bad.
By the way, my name is Sherri too!
