My DH went back to his very corporate job today dressed like everyone else in his normal dress pants, button-down shirt and sport coat. As he was walking to a meeting, he met a women in a Disney sweatshirt. Then he did a double-take as he saw that her necklace was her lanyard of Disney pins. He wasn't sure if she was coming or going from WDW, or if she just that much of a Disney fanatic.

i usually doze off the first and last 30 minutes of the day so maybe he was dreaming.

Probably just someone like all of us who was going through WDW withdrawal. I can completely sympathize! :lmao:

I use a Disney lanyard to hold my employee ID card ... including a pin commemorating each of our trips with the DD ... (the thing is getting heavy ...! :) )

I figure - after 26+ years - if I have to wear an ID card, I might as well have some fun with it!! :rotfl2:

And every once in awhile, I'll run into another "Disney fanatic" (or someone heading to WDW who needs info and help ...) pixiedust:

Ah, my first day back in the office was today. What a strange day. FWIW, I also have a few Disney pins on my work lanyard ... not many, just a few like the "Disney Difference" key and others that are subtle reminders lurking among my service pins and other work-issued pins.

I arrived in a very untypical fashion: dirty, smelly, wearing rough gear and only minimal make-up. My hair, oh my, was a curly mess. One can only wonder about the past few hours of my life ... helping a friend who phoned me at midnight as she found herself at some Hospital ER now needing a ride home with side-trip to a pharmacy; racing up to the ranch to meet and work with a brand-new-to-me farrier as I brave a major change in my New Year with my horses; picking up both dog and parrot from their respective holiday accommodations (kennels) ... and then arriving work, breathless, and "ready to go on camera" for a live webinar. Joy! I'm sure glad the webinar wasn't provisioned in 4D (smell-o-vision?) or show my muddy boots!
