Back to work tomorrow!

I have been off work for 6 weeks since having my rotator cuff repair. Tomorrow I will have to get up at 5:30 to go back to work...ughhhh!!!! After the first two weeks of agony, I was enjoying being off!! I got all my Christmas shopping and decorating done so at least that will be out of the way. I do get to leave early 3 days a week for physical therapy, so that will help me get thru the day! I only have 4 more weeks to work and I will collect my severance package after 33 years, my job has been shipped to Virginia. The good news...my DH has been selected to go to Lotusphere Jan 21 - 25 at WDW!!!! A little mini-vacation to celebrate my "retirement" and his company is picking up most of the bill. woo hoo!!!! We are staying at the Beach Club for the first time and I am looking forward to a relaxed trip with no itinerary or rushing around. Figure I can solo in the AM and meet him in the park after lunch.

I've been off for 10 days with pneumonia and I go back tomorrow. I get up at 5am and will be driving a very cold, diesel, 20yo school bus. I feel ya. I have no WDW trip, nor severance package staring me in the face though. I'm jealous!

FWIW, this conference runs all day with activities ranging from 7a - 8p and beyond. Depending on which sessions, labs, BoFs and networking gatherings he chooses to attend ... you may be running solo for more than the mornings?

My DH and I have been attending since '96. Even during years when we've shared a room -- we never see each other. Too much to do, see and learn!
