Just got the school calendar for next year and got agreement from the boss (aka dear wife) to start planning our vacation for April 2003! President's Week this year was just too cool in Florida for us so April it is! We plan on arriving on the Wednesday of the week before Easter. We'll hit the parks on Thursday, Good Friday, and Saturday, then head south to the in-laws for Easter dinner on Sunday.

How early can I make a resort reservation (I SHOULD know this, but I'm having a senior moment)?

What have the crowds been like the week BEFORE Easter? We've been the week after Easter and the parks have been pretty darn crowded.

Anybody have suggestions for Easter Dinner at Disney (in-case the in-laws don't care to cook?)

Yippee! Polynesian here we come!!:bounce:

You can book now if you'd like. However, 2002 rates did not come out until June 2001, so you'll just be guarenteed room availability and not room rates if you book now. With CRO, you'll need to make a one night's deposit of the 2001 regular season rates. When the 2003 rate structure is determined, your room rate will be adjusted.

Thanks Cali! It's all coming back to me now. I'm not sure I want to loan Disney $300+ dollars for a year! So maybe I'll hold off for now.
