I made a HUGE mistake planning my spring break/senior trip in March. I waited too long to book a room and the price went up! My room that was $200 for three nights is now $250. And for that price, I want to get something much better than the Super 8 we were previously staying at. I have no ideas. Any suggestions on rooms that have a fridge, microwave, and are in walking distance? Also, some sort of breakfast is needed. Looking for under $300 TOTAL for three nights (March 11-14, M-TH). :thumbsup2

Unless you use the Expedia-type sites, you will be hard-pressed to find anything under $100/night. I'm traveling a month before you, and looking at prices well above that, with corporate discounts. March is prime time for people to travel (remember, all of North America has spring breaks in March and April, generally), and the hotels know to that the demand will bear a higher-than-normal price. Good luck!

I was able to get a rate of $81.00 a night at Best Western Stovall's Inn on Ketella the week before Christmas, so great rates can be had just keep looking. Just did a search using kayak for your dates and there are numerous motels for the price you are looking for. Day's Inn Maingate is around $45 a night.

We're facing the same dilemma for our trip next August. It looks like we may end up at the Super 8 again. Some timeframes (such as Spring Break and Summer) are just pricey. Are you getting a cancellable rate at the Super 8? If so, go ahead and book it and then keep trying other hotels to see if the price goes down. The prices at the Del Sol and Castle Inn tend to fluctuate a lot, so I would check them often. The Anaheim Plaza looks to be $89/night for your dates, which puts it just a bit above your budget (but it's half the walk of the Super 8).

Good luck!

I did a search for you and Del Sol Inn has a AAA rate of $85/night for your dates.

I've never stayed there but I booked a stay there in January for the Disney 5k fun run. The reviews are decent for the price.

Try the Del Sol Inn. They have a free breakfast, fridge, microwave and are within easy walking distance.
